Diplomato alla SCUOLA TECNICA PROFESSIONALE D’ARTI e MESTIERI e alla SCUOLA NAZIONALE DELLE BELLE ARTI a città di PANAMA, nell’anno1972.

Una borsa di Studio da parte del MINISTERO degli AFFARI ESTERI Della FARNESINA, del governo italiano, in collaborazione con L’AMBASCIATA ITALIANA a città di PANAMA, gli permette un lungo soggiorno in Italia, dal 1972 al 1977, ed in questo periodo consegue i diplomi in PITTURA All’ACCADEMIA delle BELLE ARTI di FIRENZE, e in ARTE PUBBLICITARIA presso L’ISTITUTO D’ARTE di PORTA ROMANA di FIRENZE.

Le sue opere vengono esposte in diverse gallerie internazionali, risquotendo notevole successo; Tra le più significative: CIRCOLO ARTI FIGURATIVE, nel PALAZZO GHIBELLINO, patrocinata dal CLUB UNESCO LEONARDO DA VINCI di EMPOLI, FIRENZE nel 1995.
XLVIII ESPOSIZIONE INTERNAZIONALE D’ARTE LA BIENNALE DI VENEZIA nel 1999 in rappresentanza del Panamá.
TERZO MILLENIO FIGURE DEL FUTURO, in commemorazione del GIUBILEO, galleria nella CITTA’ DEL VATICANO a ROMA nel 1999 in rappresentanza del Panamá.
CENTENARIO DELL’ INDIPENDENZA DELLA REPUBBLICA DI PANAMÁ, nel cortile interno della BASILICA dei SANTISSIMI DODICI APOSTOLI, patrocinata dall’AMBASCIATA DI PANAMÁ ante il Governo Italiano a Roma, e dall’AMBASCIATA DI PANAMÁ ante la SANTA SEDE a Roma nel 2003.

DAVID VEGA was born in Panama City in 1952.
He graduated from the ESCUELA TECNICA PROFESIONAL DE ARTES Y OFICIOS MELCHOR LASSO DE LA VEGA (Professional College of Arts and Technology) and from the ESCUELA NACIONAL DE BELLAS ARTES (National Institute of Fine Arts)
in Panama City in 1972.

A scholarship given by the Italian government’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Farnesina), in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Panama City, gave Vega the opportunity to spend a long period in Italy, from 1972 to 1977. During this time he studied and received diplomas in painting at the ACCADEMIA delle BELLE
ARTI (Academy of Fine Arts) in Florence and in graphic advertising art at the ISTITUTO D’ARTE di PORTA ROMANA (Art Institute of Porta Romana), Florence.
The artist’s works have been exhibited in various international galleries where they have met with remarkable critical acclaim.

The most important exhibitions were at the following venues: CIRCOLO ARTI FIGURATIVE (Association of Figurative Arts), Palazzo Ghibellino, Florence, 1995 - under the patronage of the Club Unesco Leonardo da Vinci of Empoli Florence. 48th ESPOSIZIONE INTERNAZIONALE D’ARTE LA BIENNALE DI VENEZIA
(Biennale International Art Exposition), Venice, 1999, in representation of Panama.
TERZO MILLENIO FIGURE DEL FUTURO (Figurative Art for the Third Millenium), to commemorate the Papal Jubilee, in an exhibition held at the Vatican City, Rome, 1999, in representation of Panama. CENTENARY OF THE INDEPENDENCE OF THE REPUBLIC OF PANAMA in an exhibition held in the inner courtyard of the Basilica dei Santissimi Dodici Apostoli, under the patronage of the Panamanian Embassy in its relations with the Italian Government in Rome, and the Panamanian Embassy in its relations with the Holy See in Rome, 2003.The artist paints MURALES for the cities of Cuba, Panama and Florence.

DAVID VEGA nace en la ciudad de PANAMÁ en 1952.
Se diploma en la Escuela De Artes y Oficios y en la Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas de la ciudad de Panamá en el periodo 1971-1972.

Una beca de estudios por el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores Italiano en Roma, en colaboración con la Embajada de Italia en Panamá, le permite una larga estadía en Italia, desde el 1972 al 1977, y en este periodo logra obtener los diplomas en Pintura a la Academia de las Bellas Artes de Florencia, y el diploma en Artes Publicitarias en el Instituto de Arte de Puerta Romana en Florencia.

Sus obras han sido expuestas en diversas galerías internacionales, obteniendo notorio suceso. Entre las mas significativas: CIRCULO ARTES FIGURATIVAS, PALACIO GHIBELLINO, patrocinada por el CLUB UNESCO LEONARDO DA VINCI, EMPOLI, FLORENCIA 1995.
